I’ve been here since I got into NYADA, so 18-19… so about six/seven years.
Well, West Side Story were looking for some extra cast, so I thought that I could be handy in that. There aren’t that many roles for asain women, especially with fake blonde hair, no?
And I thought that was him, he was only there for a little while, though. He would recognise me now, I’ve changed a lot since then :3

Oh, cool! I’ve been here since I was 18 as well. And that’s pretty amazing! My friend Sebastian is the current Tony in WSS :) And I agree—I wish they could go with non-traditional casting in Broadway these days.

Yeah, he’s at NYU right now, actually, studying fashion :)

I just called the NY Philharmonic Orchestra’s office…and they’ve got a spot open! There are about four other people they said are auditioning for the first violinist chair, though…my fingers are crossed! My audition’s scheduled for next Friday!

“Yeah, they could but what would I do if I wasn’t there all the time?” he said softly, before he could stop himself. Being so tired made him susceptible to saying things that he normally wouldn’t say. Blaine’s show of affection brought him back to the real world, God, did Blaine have a temperature? ‘Cause he felt like his hand had been burnt slightly during that short touch. Or maybe he was coming down with something? He could feel his heart racing and was having a little bit of trouble breathing properly.

And Blaine was back onto talking about Kurt. Didn’t Blaine know anyone aside from Kurt and the people he worked with? Jeez. It’s not like Cooper flaunted his love life in front of Blaine, not that he had one, mind, but he wouldn’t do it even if he did have a love life. He didn’t understand why he was feeling all grumpy, but understood that it was probably just lack of sleep. He yawned hugely before answering Blaine’s question about Food.
“Yeah, Mozzarella Sticks sounds awesome, and I think I’ll get a lasagne with salad and french fries. I’m starved!” He said, laughing at how big his meal sounded. Yeah, it was just the lack of sleep, right?

“True,” Blaine chuckled, putting down his menu. “Alright, I’ll get us the mozzarella,” he added, raising his hand to call for the waitress. Unfortunately, the restaurant was pretty crowded, and it seemed a little understaffed, so one didn’t come to their table as quickly as Blaine wanted. “And, damn, Coop, that’s a lot,” he laughed. “Making me sound malnourished.”

Blaine noted that when he had mentioned Kurt a second time, Cooper seemed to look annoyed—maybe he was just exhausted. He shrugged off the thought and raised his hand again, and finally, a waitress appeared.

Blaine: Do it! I'll record it for you guys for memories if you want! I know what you mean. I mean--like, played for tiny crowds, but for big ones full of people I know? Not in a looooooong time. Ugh--I'm really not looking forward to Westerville, honestly. But Dalton...I really want to go back and see how much it's changed.
Jeff: You would? Thanks Blaine. That'd actually be pretty cool. Um, I was talking about something else, performing wise. Although what you said is true. I'm just talking about what happened to me back in January. Same here. At least we won't be leaving the school too much. Although, I do want to visit the Lima Bean at least. What do you say?
Blaine: Of course! Oh, I see. Don't worry, Jeff, we'll figure something out--you've got all of us to help you out. The Lima Bean sounds fantastic, actually!
Jeff: Thanks Blaine. It does, doesn't it? No one's ever been able to recreate their amazing coffees.
Blaine: No problem, Jeff. You know I'm always going to be there for any of my friends. And oh, yes, I want my good ol' steaming cup of medium drip again! I've missed it so much!
Jeff: I know. That's one of the reasons I'm glad to call you my friend. Oh yes!
Blaine: Once a Warbler, always a Warbler--also relevant. :) WOO! Quality coffee, here we come!
Jeff: Hell yes! To both statements! :D
Blaine: Oh, god, we really have to meet up! Double-date soon! When are you and Nick free? I'll check with Kurt so he and Nicky can meet!
Jeff: Definitely! I think that would be a lot of fun, plus Nick and Kurt really do need to meet. I'm sure Nick wants to meet the guy who makes you happy.
Blaine: And Kurt wants to meet the guy who makes you happy :) It's a plan!
Jeff: I'll talk to Nick about when we can go. And you must be pretty special Blaine, just saying. I haven't left the house except for a few times since my rape, but I'm willing to go out for you.

Cooper listened to his brother talk about Kurt, and how they hadn’t seen each other much, and that made him frown. He didn’t like that his brother had been all alone for so long, he was alone most nights, too, and he knew how that felt.

His face lit right up when Blaine talked about the Philharmonic possibly having an open spot for a Violinist. He felt so warm inside. Warm and proud.

“Eh, I’ve been alright. I mean, I’ve been on call for the last three nights and, well, they call no matter what time it is,” Cooper laughed while he yawned. But the truth was that he hadn’t slept for more than three hours in total in those three days. He’d just not been able to stay asleep. He couldn’t figure it out, most nights he would wake up in a cold sweat, not remembering a thing of what he dreamed about or why he had woken up. He’d then ride to work and stay there until he wasn’t needed. Kept him from thinking about it too much. He didn’t like nightmares, and he didn’t want to know what was making him wake up.

“So, what are you gonna eat?” Cooper said, before licking his lips. He was so hungry he could probably eat everything ever and still be hungry.

Blaine nodded while his brother spoke. He knew the toll of sleep deprivation—he had lived it every single day since his freshman year of high school. “You seriously need a vacation,” Blaine snorted. “God, can’t they give you a break over there? Ah, well, at least you know you’re a really good doctor,” he said, patting his brother’s hand promptly and letting go again to flip through the menu.

“Hmmm, I was thinking of getting the fettuccine alfredo. I haven’t had it in forever. Kurt actually made me some once—he’s an amazing cook. I should ask him to make you something one of these days. His creations are really out of this world,” Blaine said eagerly, nodding—but his glasses almost fell off the bridge of his nose, and he adjusted them quickly. “So how ‘bout you? What do you think about mozzarella sticks for appetizers?”

Jeff: Yeah, I know. I'm still sorry for that, man. Good, cause I just want to see the looks on their faces. I think Nick and I'll pretend to still be just friends maybe, and then when we're at the Warblers part of the reunion, just sit next to him like we used to, all cuddly, and I'll just casually lean over and kiss him. What do you think? New York really is a magical place.
Blaine: Nah, it's alright. I'm still thankful for the dorms and stuff, though. Hehe, I love being involved in plans like these! You guys should go for it! Also, do you think we should prepare something to perform? I haven't actually sung in front of people in ages since the last open mic night and Serendipity and once at Central with Kurt. And yes, New York...I love it. But Ohio would be a nice, short change, I guess.
Jeff: Actually, I haven't even told Nick of these plans yet... Maybe we should. My performance skills are a little rusty. I haven't exactly had a performance for an audience since, well, you know. I've sung for Nicky almost nightly though, if that counts. Ohio would be a nice change, although, I'm not looking forward to Westerville's homophobia.

Cooper smiled down at his brother, before sitting down across from him, “Hey Little B, how have you been?”

Cooper rubbed his face over, feeling exhausted and excited at the same time. Why did he have to be on call for the last three nights? Stupid hospital. He knew this restaurant, he’d come here quite a lot when he’d felt like going out, so he knew what he wanted for a main… but appetizers were always good.

Blaine shrugged with a side-smile. “I’ve been better. Kurt’s been really busy—and so have I—so we both haven’t had a chance to spend time with one another lately. I picked up more shifts at Serendipity, my boss made me her personal assistant a few weeks ago to help her run errands and things like that. Plus, the Philharmonic is reportedly opening a violin spot up next month…so I’m getting ready for that audition,” he said, stifling a yawn. He hadn’t gotten much sleep again last night—he missed having Kurt to cuddle with him at night. “How have you been? You look exhausted, Coop. I think they’re working you too hard at the hospital,” he said worriedly.
